- Save the pre-rehearsal state and any necessary manufacturer backup.
- Map the click input, each mono/stereo monitor bus, and physical outputs. Check stereo partners and pan; personal mixers such as P16 need their own input patch.
- Lower monitor levels and stop playback before connecting. Do not test a loud click while wearing in-ears.
- Remove audience assignments before playing. Channel mute can also stop monitor sends, so it is not a substitute for removing LR assignment.
