At a glance

The standard license is non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide and commercial. The exclusive buyout contractually stops CueTone from selling or newly licensing that pack after payment; standard licenses issued before payment remain valid. Neither product guarantees a transfer of copyright ownership.

What you can do

• On-site BGM for events (waiting, guest intros, openings, awards, etc.)
• Video content and ads on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more
• Background music for broadcast, streaming and podcasts
• Ambience in stores, exhibitions, pop-ups and other commercial spaces
• Presentations, apps, games, websites and other digital works
• Both personal and commercial (for-profit or non-profit) use

What you can't do

• Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the audio files themselves for free
• Offering the tracks through a competing music, stock, or sample library
• Selling a track on its own as a standalone product (ringtone, single release, etc.)
• Providing or repurposing the tracks as AI training data, NFTs, and the like
• Using the tracks in unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise rights-infringing content

Standard & exclusive

Standard licenses may be sold repeatedly. Once an exclusive buyout is confirmed, CueTone stops all new standard and exclusive sales for that pack and retains its page in the ‘Exclusive purchase confirmed’ archive. This does not exclude the possibility of the same AI tools or third parties generating similar output.

AI-generated

CueTone tracks are instrumentals generated by giving mood direction to an AI music tool without human editing. Copyright status and attribution for purely AI-generated output varies by jurisdiction, so we do not warrant copyright existence, ownership or transfer, or decisions by third-party systems such as YouTube Content ID. The standard product grants commercial use rights; the exclusive product also contractually requires CueTone to stop future resale and new licensing.

Refunds

As digital downloads, refunds may be limited once a download has begun. Every track offers a free 30-second preview, so please check before purchasing.

Warranty & liability

All tracks are provided 'as is' without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount paid for the purchase in question.

Changes & contact
